As a producer and writer, I had the privilege of crossing paths with John Amos while working on Block Party and other projects alongside Lisa Mathis and our Branch Out Productions team. Though we only worked for a few days together, John’s presence in the greater industry was always felt—he had a way of commanding respect just by walking into a room. We admired him not only for his work but for how he carried himself as a professional and as a person of integrity. He was incredible to witness in person and we are truly blessed.
